DEPUTY CHAIR: MS MBALI MYENI
Mbali is a Non-Executive Director and a Deputy Chairperson of Moses Kotane Institute. Managing Director of JonJostin Enterprise that places its focus on training and development, mentorship and coaching.
Her experience is mainly in the Public Sector including Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs as a Communication Specialist; and the uMngeni Local Municipality as a Senior Manager: Operations, Councillor and Mayor. Mbali was one of the youngest Female Mayors in the Country that led the municipality with a second biggest economy in uMgungundlovu District.
Her Political Career involved serving at the Branch, Regional and Provincial Structures of the African National Congress and the African National Congress Youth League, holding key positions.
Mbali has an MBA from MANCOSA, a Bachelor’s and Honour’s Degree (s) in Communications Science and Digital Media from the University of Zululand, and is currently a Masters candidate at University of KwaZulu-Natal on access to Information Communication Technologies by Rural Communities. Mbali is a Postnet Franchise Owner and a Training Facilitator for South African Local Government Association
