During registration at the MKI Westville (Lakeside) offices
The University of Zululand’s (UNIZULU’s) Business Management Society comprising of 62 students and 2 staff members visited the Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) offices in Westville and Springfield, Durban, on the 19th of June 2019. MKI and UNIZULU have a relationship that seeks to fulfil the mandates of both these organisations, particularly, responding to the provincial economic transformation.
The purpose of the tour was to expose the third year and postgraduate students to the functioning of MKI, recruitment drive, procedures, graduate programs, internships, bursaries, and sharing of any relevant information to the students.
Dr Thembinkosi Twalo our Skills Development Research and Partnership Manager welcomed UNIZULU at our head offices in Westville. Dr Twalo addressed everyone, explaining our mandate, vision and mission of MKI and how UNIZULU come on board.
The visit was more of an educational tour as students were afforded an opportunity to visit all MKI’s operational venues, such as the research laboratory and training centre.
